bird singIt has been almost 6 years since I start working with sound at the depth that I am now and almost 20 years doing healing work (wow, where does the time go?).

Looking back on how my life has evolved from Computer Programmer to Sound Healer is mind boggling. I never would have imagined that I would be where I am in my life and yet looking back it all makes sense. Which is comforting to me because when challenging moments bubble up in my life I can take a breath and know that some day looking back it will all have been a valuable part of my journey and critical to get me where I am now.

I share this with you because I want to share the secret of what I found looking back over the years that has catapulted my life forward at an exciting pace.

It’s really simple.  You see 20 years ago as a computer programmer I was doing what my well-meaning parents and teachers guided me to do.  Why?  Because I didn’t really know myself.  The last 20 years has been a long arduous journey of self-discovery.  Sometimes I stepped into self-awareness with ease and other times I got whacked in the back of the head and pushed into it.

Regardless, It was when I was able to embrace new found aspects of myself, climb to the top of the nearest mountain and shout THIS IS WHO I AM!  That life would flow in to meet me and say YES!, we hear you… Welcome Home!

This is what I did time and time again.  Regardless of what others said, regardless of what my head said!  I did myself. And in doing so my life work continued to evolve, grow and expand.

As Marian Williamson says, “… as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others…”

That’s it my little secret to leaping forward in your life is to find your own voice and sing your unique heart song!

Not that this is a plug for my workshops but amongst the hundreds of ways to find your unique voice my work is one of them. Find what works for you and get busy.  Life isn’t waiting.

With Love,  Matt
